In the latest instalment of Shocklogic’s interview series, our CEO & Founder John Martinez interviews Oscar Cerezales, Chief Strategy Officer at MCI Group, on the topic ‘The future of events: how the ecosystem is changing’.

Oscar is a past Board Member and Trustee of PCMA, current Board member of Saceos, member of the scientific board of the Latam CVBs Association, Chair of ICESAP and founder of MPI Chapters (Meetings Professional International). He has designed, run, and participated in summits, workshops, think tanks, and labs for both associations (e.g. AIPC, PCMA, SACEOS, ICCA) and governments (e.g. Australia, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, Oman, Malaysia). He has taught at universities in Barcelona, London, and Milan and has collaborated with various industry publications.
In the interview, John and Oscar discuss how the events industry is evolving and look at some of the new roles and trends that are emerging.
