Our CEO and Founder John Martinez is off to the sunny Carribean this month where he will be presenting at the COCAL Congress 2021 in the Dominican Republic.

The Federation of Congress Organising Entities of Latin America (COCAL) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the representation, training, and promotion of all actors making up the value chain in the meetings and events industry in Latin America. 

The Congress brings together professional conference organisers, industry service providers, associations, hotels and airlines, destination promotion organisations, and institutions of higher education. 

Shocklogic and COCAL have been longtime partners, and we have supported them on various events with products including our webinar platform.

The topic of John’s speaker session will be “Strengthening associations using technology” (“Fortalecimiento de asociaciones usando tecnología”). He will be discussing the impact of the pandemic on associations and explaining how technology solutions such as Shocklogic’s own Membership Management System can help organisations attract and keep members by automating and centralising the processes involved in membership and CRM (customer relationship management).

The session will take place from 10:00-10:30 DOM (15:00-15:30 UK) on the 29th of June 2021.
